How long does it take to create your first library. I just installed PMS on Windows 10, rebooted, ran through the initial setup and I am creating my first library. I have apx. 1TB of movie files, located on a single disk, organized into directories, all under a single top level directory. I renamed the files per the guidelines. I then launched PMS and went through the setup instructions. The last thing I did was to select the top level directory (e:\Videos), under which all the other directories are located. I hit the button to create a library. That was over 8 hours ago, and all I have seen is the message ""The library is still being refreshed. Hang on while we look for your content." There is a spinning circle in the upper right. I checked Windows Task Manager, and see Plex Media Server (32 bit) and Plex Media Server DLNA Service (32 bit), both showing 0% CPU with a quick 0.1% now and then, and the same for Network.
My questions:
1. How long should it take to create my first library, given the 1TB size of media?
2. Why did it install 32 bit versions on my 64 bit machine?
